You can also short shift. You did it in a couple of places where the turns are close together, it worked well. Sometimes it's easier to shift up a little early and settle the car rather than ringing every gear and hanging till you go back to the future!

I didn't know about your crash at Jacks mate, take your time getting your confidence back. It will come back to you one run at a time.

You should be able to hold WOT all the way through from the container to the chicane, just as you come around the bend you will have time to straighten the wheel and jump on the anchors. You’ve feathered it pretty much all the way.
Worst case scenario is you’ll plow through the chicane but on a course like this you’ve got to choose the parts to test with the least amount of risk.
Places like the chicanes and end of the strip ( coming from both directions ) are pretty much the only places.
The majority of the guys in the top 10 have come back with a busted rim or bumper or worse at some stage

Nice run Paul, love the no hander launch! Are you able to hold third through the left hander at the end the strip or does it bog down?
