We should have a protest there's planes leaving there 24hrs a day surely they make more noise than a v8 or a wrx.

Sounds like RAC just don't want to do motorsport. It 'conflicts with their road safety image'.

Feel sorry for Jurgen, Murray, and Ben, who were really starting to build it into something special.


RAC will continue to run the centre at a loss, and then lose the land in 2020.


Hopefully MC Motorsport can relaunch at an alternate venue.
It was certainly great to be a part of, and I am going to miss it.

Such a handy venue and a great place to dip your toe into Motorsport.

Does make it hard to warrant having a dedicated track car, I guess it means hiring a trailer a bit more often.

What about a petition? i always get these bullshit petitions in my email from change.com about all kinds of social issues. If we could get a sob story about grass roots motorsport dieing, and work in an angle about if theres no safe venues for motorsport, it will force people to do it illegally on the roads. (Because we all know how much that topic gets people vaginas sandy) Then get enough signatures....

Yer not wrong there mate,the RAC was a in a great location and within a lot of peoples budget. Hiring a trailer and having a car to tow it with is just another expense that turns this great hobby into a massive luxury for some.
