DBA response to 2 piece rotor clicking

This is the file that DBA thought had been circulated to PerthWRX but hasn't seemed to be thus far.

I believe morgan found the solution which fell on deaf ears at dba initially.

I think that DBA are on smack. I took morgans advice and cleaned the anodizing off of the rim. For research's sake I took it off the outside of one rim and the inside of the other. Will see which one causes the click and post up and the results.

Better late than never....where was this hiding Polar?

if they only removed the anodising :p

They decided to contact me because I am obviously the owner of perthwrx judging by the admiration and respect I get around here.

Be interesting to see if Brendons Rotors click at all. Having 50% of the anodising removed may remove the problem.

Yeah big up to Lord Polarbear...

POLARBEAR666 17-02-2007 11:41 AM

Well i don't see how removing the anodising from a bit you cant see can cause any issues so you might as well do it rather than have to make sure surface contact is "totally clean" as per the DBA excuse.

REXESS 19-02-2007 02:17 PM
