BPVs - stock and aftermarket

Hey,

I wanna start recirculating my blow off air again, but i sold my stock one when i installed my new blow off ...

Is the stock BPV and aftermarket ones like the FORGE one, the same except for the amount of boost it can hold? or is it of different design?

I saw a vid on youtube of a wrx with the FORGE bpv on it and i like the sound so im looking into one, however if its no better than the stock one, ide just go back to stock because its alot cheaper.

Cheers
- Nick

P.S for ppl who want to go 'pppssshhhh', its DEFINITLY a phase .. well atleast it was for me :D

If you go a CAI, you can hear the standard one quite well. :)

I have a CAI with a full plumbpack GFB BOV and I can hear it just fine. Its not loud but still quite audible. Its a nice "wooosh" sound.

Anyone know the boost threshold of the stock bpv on a my03?
