Hankook Ventus RS2 tyres- FTMFW!

Took through some twisties and its absolutley awesome.

Compared to previous high performance tyres the 225 RS2's grip like limpet mines.

I was going around corners that I have gone through 40 or 50 times at speed and went through on my normal max speed and the tyres didnt even chirp. Felt like I could have gone 15kph faster.... which I did the second time through and even then they didnt chirp.

The grip I have now is almost stooopppid. Couldnt even get my normal chirp as I hit second and thats with 240kw@wheels. GRIPPPPO!!!!

Buy these things! its the best bang for buck mod I have done so far.

Makes sense really, your tyres are the only thing that moves the car or transfers power and steering.

Price?

POLARBEAR666 01-04-2007 09:18 PM

they are around $280 each ..... well worth it... In terms of the performance advantage they give its HUGE

Point to point you would bet on the car that had these tyres on vs one that had 50 more hp.

Running these too. They're OK, i'd still prefer to be running my RE070's if i wasn't saving them for track use/abuse. :D

But definitely a good bang for your buck.

Josh - For a 235/40/18, i got mine for $290 each.

Look the goods but they are directional arn't they. Reckon I have got an extra 5-10 thousand km out of the re070 by being able to put em on any corner than I would have otherwise. ( lot harder on the right side tyres than the left )

Otherwise might reconsider the RE070 going on tuesday morning.

i have RS2's on my car and they are great. verry grippy and seem to wear very well. Had them out on 1 track day and they felt great
