but he has 227 ps and 329 Nm, torque appears to peak and taper of quickly, where as balsacks seems to hold it for much longer period, which you'd think would make it much more driveable and faster, but slightly laggier.

Much more useable torque band but higher in the revs.

Happy to be corrected...the dyno sheets I have are from the day before and what I quoted was 172.38 TorqFLy...my bad
on my sheet the ps is 220.3...hahaa I under quoted myself by 27.8% hahaa ...we digress.

My point is the power anyone has is limited by grip. Grip is defined as the ratio between traction and loading. When you increase loading, traction does increase, but not proportionally to the increase in load. The coefficient of friction is not constant for all loading values. Lateral traction is finite, enter a sweeping corner, basically any corner and power becomes less relevant. Achieve 5-10% lateral slip on your tyre and you have now reached the limits of adhesion...more power will not help

I managed 12.8 at 1/4 mile with stock turbo , then upgrade to vf34 and ECU TUNED, GEARBOX went back same driving shifting well my style anyways, and still same thing
