I see Lane ran your car in 4th. Isn't the correct gear on a 6spd 5th gear? The closest gear to have 1:1 ratio. The 5spd is 4th? Just curious.

4th gear for mainline dyno's.
Yes im very suprised at the torque figure.. but the car PULLS like crazy - compared to the other tune it had when it was dyno'd at 500nm.
So im not sure what to think. To me - torque is definatly higher.
800nm worth? not sure - but how can u fudge torque figures if the power curve seems un-fudged ?

Mine on Lane's dyno 1.35bar pulled 730nm on a 2.5ltr so your two liter with that extra boost sounds right. Also fourth gear on a 6spd will give a high torque reading I presume.

thats good to know gareth. How was ur torque figures compared to the hub dyno.

You have to have 4th gear for 6-speeds on the mainline dyno's. Look at all the other mainline plots .. all 4th

On the hub dyno 500nm at the hubs on 1.35bar and 440whp
On mainline dyno 740nm and 400whp

Both runs in 4th on a 5spd, even though lane said I must use 3rd. I wanted to compare with hub dyno and that run was in 4th.

Recent tune on Hub dyno day before i ran the 11.55 was 480whp and 515nm of torque on 1.6bar.

Looks about 10%diff between the 2.

^^

as i said before, torque figure seems but the proof is in the pudding, it will definately be quick. gareths comparison torque is great because you can see how your fudged torque figure compares with his fudged torque

who cares, go run a low eleven

just remeber
