You can get an AVO400l cheaper than that. Talk to Joe, I thought FP20g were only around the 1500 mark? Could be wrong tho

AVO400L $2475 + 2 hours to fit and $300 to retune.

I think that was what he paid Stacey for it.

Grr..So many options! I think yours might be a bit too laggy for my liking, Tode.

I'm closely following the progress of the APS twin scroll, but i bet it'll cost an arm.

That thing sounds killer! Bet it will cost an arm and a leg though! Not sure if I am prepared to lose the boxer rumble though.

i wouldnt call it really laggy... yes there is lag, but the dyno plot doesnt do it justice.

Power under the curve...the torque plot tells the real story. What turbo to choose....keep it small/medium for quick spool and deadly midrange, when you get bored of driving in straight lines and start tackling corners, big peaky turbo's aren't even worth a mention BUT if your keen on straight line grunt/ drag racing (highway racing) dedicated circuit racing then the bigger huffers are the go. UPTO 400hp rating will work very well with a best of both worlds imo.

Is it possible to have the best of both worlds? ie. Low mid-range punch, yet still have the legs for the freeway? Or is that just wishful thinking? I'll pay the money if it's possible!

Any advice on which turbo/setup can achieve this?

Lewis: That looks nice man, i'll read up on it!

As much as i like the boxer thump, i'm prepared to lose it for power gains.
The S204 sounds hawt! If i go twin scroll, i'll be sure to try and make it sound as nasty as possible...

FP20G is 1770 landed. Similar performance to Green on pump fuel, better response.

I'd pick an FP over an AVO any day....I reckon an FP20G would suit your needs perfectly, Huy.
