Did the race fuel tune tonight....a little dissapointing. Couldn't get 2bar Seems the standard inlet manifold and throttle body are restricting her.

She made only 550hp @ the hubs and 615nm on 1.8bar. Oh well we will see if shes any faster on Wednesday.

Yeah that seems to be about the limit. I'll find my dyno chart from the wagon when doing the 2bar runs, and you can compare. I remember when riyaard had his done at (similar mods) after 5500rpm stock manifold vs the twins it showed a measurable difference, at the expense of lag mind you.

550hp at hubs will be MORE than plenty either way, enough for 10's no doubt, you'll probably need to work on chassis setup now to get it to hook up.

Heres the comparison graph. You can see the difference between the pump fuel tune and race fuel tune. Pump fuel was 1.6bar and race fuel 1.8bar. Still a big jump in torque and power for .2bar. But as she hits 6500rpm there is just not enough air left causing her to choke.

Surely your tuner can wind back the boost at high RPM to achieve atleast the same high RPM result you achieved earlier. With the faster burn rates, fuel oxygenation and higher fuel density you get with race fuel you should NOT be going backwards. Something aint right. Your tuner play with ignition tables as a pump fuel ignition table run with race fuel will make you go backwards as you usually require much more advance to get the best from race fuel.

I think , if you look closely at the graph, you will see that the "pump fuel" tune is the dotted line under the solid lines of the "race fuel" tune that are in solid. ( Green is power, blue is touque) I cant see where the race fuel tune goes "backwards" ???

Definitely looks like the backwards dyno result will result in an increased kph at 3000rpm when on the freeway. LOL
