Default o6 upgrade

Finally the upgrade is a nearing thing , have chosen all star garage for the following
- 3 inch turbo back exhaust
-Trust frount mount and pod filter
-Avo 500 or 450 turbo
-Verso tuned to around 300 at the wheels
$7390

Is there anyone here running the avo or such that could help me pick between the two

I thought you were going twinscroll?

Still that list above does look pretty good. Might want to add a fuel pump to that list though if you haven't already done that

Surely injectors are required? Perhaps look at the cheaper FP turbos.

Still have got the twinscroll in the shed ludwig but seems everyone getting good results with the single so im going to stick with it , nick at allstar said the the current injectors on the 06 will be enough and that cause its still new i shouldnt have to upgrade the fuel pump but might do it on the safe side but picking between the turbo's is where i am stuck turbo alone is about $2700 roughly

If you're upping boost, do Fuel Pump for sure.

Didnt you get a vf42 for your twinscroll setup?

If your only looking at 300hp at the hubs, then the vf42 twinscroll should be able to achieve that goal. And you'll have an even faster spool and a much flatter torque curve. Which will be better for you when your towing your boat and pulling it up the ramps and stuff.

Why spend the extra money when you already have everything you need to achieve the goals your after?

And yeah +1 for the fuel pump upgrade. Why save a couple hundred bucks and risk leaning out at high RPM?

Feral what are you going to use your car for, goals. etc. 300kw atw is one thing, this car is still your daliy driver and boat tower right. Have a look this option http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...Code=WRX-Turbo - great product and performance for our 2.5 ltr pigs. How is the drilling going? Oh and spend the money on a walbro pump upgrade for sure!
