DBA 4000s run around 100 bucks less from me, WHEN I can get them that is...having bulk problems with my supplier at the moment, and the fact that DBA are out of stock of the unusual fitments i.e. slotted 4000 series rear rotors for GC8s.

Those who have orders on the way, I havent forgotten you...I'm waiting as patiently as you are.

Minimum thickness is usually stamped on the disc itself:

DBA's are like this:

could you get me a quote on db650 equivalent for the rear to MY00 (not sure if rears have a different number to front) as I'm thinking of putting 4000s on front and 650s at the back. Dont even know if this setup is ok...ie if the car will handle well under hard braking

Yes 12.8 confirmed...

Min Disc thickness standard rotor MY99 is 21 mm. DBA 4000/5000 are 1mm thicker when new hence 22mm scrap thickness...(from memory only: insert usual disclaimer...)

I have used the DBA Gold cross drilled on the rear for track for about 3 years now. The trick is to match them with pads like Bendix Ultimates that only work to 500degC and bed them in slowly...i.e. several months road use. This gives them a chance to heat cycle properly. I have no doubt they would crack first track outing if I used Ferodo 2500 pads.

On topic, I'm sure the DBA's were 21-22mm and you replace at 20mm, if my memory serves me correct too.
