$800 a pop seems a bit rich.

Talk to your tuner and explain it. I'm sure they can do a quick tune to stop any damaging problems from occuring and then you can come back for the complete tune.

Waaaaay cheaper than another engine.

I don't know why you need to wait till 5000kms to get it fully tuned - should be ready now.

^^ What he said.

Stop asking people on forums and get a tuner to go over it with you because sometimes google fails and things go pear shape!

Even a Road tune should be no more the $400 ish, especially if your using the same tuner and just running in the engine.
Just get em to do a basic map for the running in tune, then come back later.

Links are not that hard with their small maps.

Please please see a tuner before it goes bang, tinkle, tinkle again !!!!

The link I am purchasing has been tuned on another car with different mods to mine so I would prefer a full tune. I spoke to RMS and they said that a full tune on the Link including Dyno was $790. No mention of a quick tune or anything like that.

They guy who rebuilt my block said it would be run in after 1,000kms (which it has already covered) but said no drags or dyno for 5,000kms when it will be 'fully' run in and can take some abuse.

As far as the engine going pop again I can't see that happening as everything is back to stock. Only mods are: Filter, Zorst and fuel pump.

Does anyone on this forum have the equipment/knowledge to do a quick tune on a link??? Cashy???

EDIT: Joey who did your tune?
