today spent all day tryin to install the monster ebay TMIC for the 01-06's on ma GC8...

put it in place without the y pipe to see if it fit had to alter the intercooler bracket thingys which i did and so forth, got a perfect fit went to install it with the y-pipe and it wouldnt fit....couldnt get the throttle body part to slide into place....so complicated haha...um

i think the prob is simply the y pipe....might have to extent the joint a bit to allow more movement...hard to explain hahaha

Just asking for any tips or pointers to make my life easier hahaha....if you could please direct to a DIY with these on a GC8 would be greatly appreciated.

any info gretly appreciated...thanks guys and girls

Will keep u updated on my project which was suppose to take an hour but so far is a 7 and counting..hahaha

you can't use the ypipe it came with. test this by using your original ypipe

so the original y pipe should work then???

ebay = dodgy, god knows how many cheap sellers r claiming its a geniune or well made product these days! just know from alot of ebay buying experience!

i guess i am lucky cos no where they claimed genuine and mine wasnt even really from ebay just same as ebay so said it was for more of a reference for you guys!!!
