Is the rear Muff ler really needed?

Just finished drilling holes in the rear muffler of my 89 Pulsar to make it full Rally Spec.
Sounds good, but not good enough.
Now my question is, can i just axe the whole muffler off, or is it actually needed to create back pressure or something?

take it off!!!! :D

Hurtenstein 04-06-2007 06:46 PM

Yeah i was going to =)
Just wanted to make sure it's not going to make it run like a slug without it,
like when i had just extractors on my Val =)
