dba 4000 series.

DBA 4000 series slotted rotors.
ELIG 2021 pads.

1st started squeaking about 1 week after had them installed, took back to workshop, they buffed rotors up and said its normal because they are high performance pads and rotors they tend to sort of glaze up if not used in a racing manner. all good for about a month, now their squeaking again.

do you guys with DBA's experance this aswell?

thanks.

WTF is an Elig pad?

I'm running DBA 4000's with Hawk HPS pads .. Little bit dusty but once they are warm they seem to be very good.

Never had any squeekage.

Change yer pads, or get some of that anti-squeek paste?

I'm running DBA4000's with the DS2500 pads and yeah a get minor squekage when they're cold but after a few gentle stops leaving my estate they're fine. I sure the shims on the back of pads were all installed properly so it's probably a case of not using em hard enough. Remember the slotting in the rotor should scrape off any pad glazing with a few hard stops.

ok thanks for the help.

Try putting pagid blues in there for the road....They dont squeak they talk to you. Usually a couple of good hard stops in succession got enough heat into them and they were quiet again.
