can a p20 housing be put on a vf 35

No. A p20 housing cannot be put onto a vf35 as the vf35 core is a thrust bearing core and the only p20 housings come on ball bearing core turbos.

As said above. Just get a vf34 p20 as the output would be the same as if you could put a p20 housing on a vf35. Except it would spool a little faster thanks to the vf34 ball bearing core.

you could however put a p18 housing off the vf30 onto a vf35. but then you may as well buy a vf30 as it would be exactly the same thing. But then you may as well buy a vf34 because its easier to get and it will spool up faster without any loss of top end. A vf30 is the same as a vf34 except for the ball bearing core. Not much middle ground between a vf35 and vf34.

And some info for ya from Stace.

"grab the vf35 front and rear housings and whack them on the vf34, you will drop lag, and if you port the housing, you'll make more top-end too."

larger housings only create lag and reduce torque.
