Brake Pad Advice
wel my stock front brake pads are nearly gone so its time for a change.
to fit my brembo 4 pots(front). what pads can i get which a decently priced(read: not too exxy, and how much) and offer good braking for spirited street driving. warm regards t |
Not sure how much they're worth. But I've always used Ferodo DS2500's. Nice pad for street and occasional track work.
For my GTR they were like $250. Would be a little more for the Brembo equipped STi's. |
they are $500 for fronts for the rex brembos

if a brake pad can keep up with [tuna], it's DS3000................
|
ds3000 all the way
when they bite cold they are still better then stock pads, and they keep biting harder the warmer they get. |
use your handbrake instead Tode :)
2500's or 3000's will be the way to go. |
3000s are great for track, but for only street driving they make you batty with the squealing and they will also eat away your rotors faster. For street only look at the 2500s. I use those on my Evo Brembos and are a good product, even on the track (just).

the 2500's squeek more then 3000's hands down (ive used both) ive also managed to get around 20,000 km out of a set of 3000's and rotor's |
