Default What's the diff between MY99 and 98 Heads?

Other than cams did they have any major changes?

They have different bolt patterns for the intake manifold too don't they? I'm fairly sure they aren't interchangeable.

On the MY99 revised inlet manifold that is not compatible with earlier WRX's.
Camshafts were a revised design that won't fit earlier heads.
Steel type head gaskets came standard on MY99.
Larger Cambelt tensioner idler pulley and a revised cam belt adjuster.

Thats all I can find...

Kinda off topic but not,
but is the coil pack been moved between 98 and 00 models?
on my 98 its in the centre of the intake manifold but on the 00 its offset to the right and one lead coming out the left of it looks too short.
just wondering if a previous owner has moved it for some reason.
