How to distinguish between a EJ205 and Ej207 short motor?
 

Hi people
How do one distinguish or tell if a short motor is EJ207 or Ej205?

:confused:

its usually written on the block somewhere between alternator and airbox

if its just by looking at a short motor?

for example :

there would be a 5 where the 0 is if it was a ej257. not sure between ej205 or ej207

oh yes....so how to tell if its a ej207 short motor?

it will have a 7 on the end , thats what mine has :D

which part on the end sir?

take a photo of the engine number

I see what your getting at. I'm sure my EJ205 just has 'EJ20' stamped on it...

the engine number is 691072687495


how do one see from the number?
