What 18 year old doesn't know how to jack up there car and have a look...

I am guessing that a couple of drops would mean you have to tighten the sump plug... about it. But in the meantime I wouldn't be concerned with losing a couple of drops of oil, your car holds near on 5L of oil, so if you start getting puddles of it that would be the time to panic

if you dont have any idea then take it to a workshop....

i dont have a tear for posts like "how long is a piece of string".... go figure!

again if you own a sports car you have to be willing to fork out cash to have it serviced and fixed!

Ok dude. You are new to cars. Best idea is to
1. check your oil level on the dipstick under the bonnet, engine not running, on level ground. Top up if required. If you dont know how to do this, check the owners manual. explains it all.

2. run car and check for leaks. If it is dripping out badly when running then best to get it towed, if not either
A. Drive it to a mechanic
B. Drive it to a mechanically minded friend and let them have a look at it?

There are many potental problems from a oil leak. including destroying suspension bushes, causing car accidents from oil on the road, smoke and making your under side of your car look like shit. Best to get it sorted.

Hope it helps.

Tom

well put it this way, its not a good thing. If you cant get under your car to look at where its coming from then there is nothing we can do for you. My car is leaking oil like a bitch, that is coming from the timing covers so i'd say i am up for crank and cam seals. If you are not careful with a leak you run the risk of running out of oil and destroying engine, or worse case oil getting up around your turbo and igniting causing your pride and joy to go up in flames.

If you know nothing about fixing your car then get it to a mechanic asap to prevent further damage.
