they havent got the verso sorted yet jme???

i think for basic ish mods that u cant go past the tek or verso as they drive sooo smoothly...

motec of course can be done the same but the amount of dyno time prolly 20-50 hours on and off is hard to justify..

No Verso option for Si Drive cars yet and WA Ecutek dealers still don't have the hardware to tune Si Drive cars either.

You can get a tek end of this month Dave if you're desperate . I've had discussions with Wisby at Maximums for the mods i have in mind. Turbo, manifolds, injectors, pump and custom cooler setup is within limits. My biggest concern is CEL's that can't be removed. Cross that bridge when i get to it. The beauty of being greenhorn when playing with virgin models!

The motec wouldn't be a complete standalone tho. Purely just intercept the fuel/timing/boost/DBW/avcs parametres and leave the rest as per oem. This wouldn't upset cold start, ac settings etc etc. But as mentioned its a 5K+ exercise. On a dedicated race when i could use all the options wouldn't give it a second thought, but its a daily and smooth driveability is priority.

Interesting because MRT Sales Mgr told me over the phone that their planned road trip for first tuning of Libos would likely not be until the new year now.

Fairly certain all post 05 libbo's have tgv's. I've gotta pull the engine cover and have a look.

Dave, we are talking MRT here, since when have they ever been accurate let alone base anything on fact LOL. Tek crew were here two weeks ago at RT and MMS doing a batch of libbo tunes, apparently the tek software will be here end of november.

Jaime,

Great read thus far on the "exec express" project!

once you have your self sorted, would be great to look at a list of mods leading to some pre & post power runs. pls don't forget us!

cheers,

Sorry to use your thread, Jme, but do you guys know if this is the correct bracket? It's the last piece i need (i hope!)
It says it for a Ver8, though. Or is it same same?
