just wondering should I get turbo,bigger topmount, sti injectors. exhaust etc installed then drive 900km to perth to get the car tuned or try and get car booked in to get parts installed and tuned at same place

All this on a MY05 wrx

i got pritty much the same stuff installed (turbo, injectors, pump, silicon inlet, cai) AND tuned with VERSO at ASG in the ONE DAY (dropped off the car to them first thing in the morning at 8:00am). Got it back with all the parts installed and tuned by about 8:00pm that night.

Very happy with everything and had no dramas with the new parts or the tune. No problems till this day ..

As for getting the parts installed and then driving it some 900kms or something to get it tuned, prolly not the best idea and probally wont physically work. By my understanding, running bigger injectors without the car tuned for them will make the car run like absolute crap or maybe not even run at all ..

I had all my mods done at Tenagha then put on a flat bed over to get tuned . Saves driving get it all done at one place at least they know when they tune the car what expected of the new setup

Get All Star to do it all mate....should only take a day BUT from memory they only do Verso's on Monday & Thursday evenings so you'll have to get it in on the right day.... The stock top mount & dump pipe have to come off to change the turbo so there's no real time added going to a new TMIC or dump....I believe the manifold may aswell come off when they're doing the injectors and they can do the intake pipe at the same time....so a day should do it.
What's it going on?

worst case scenario 10 days.. depends on installer & tuner.. but dont take advice from a keyboard warrior..dont waste time, call the tuner direct.

YEP! All at one place, I am grateful that I was put onto ASG, Its a 3 hour + round trip for me and the satisfaction is worth every minute.
