Default Engine light ???

Ok had a engine light coming on and off for a few days now car seems to run fine but when light is on it lacks boost, doesn't want to drop back a gear (AUTO). I have cleaned Afm to no avail and just did a diagnostic which showed a 22 Code. Does anyone know what this code is? I have a 2000 Jap import S/tb auto Forester that is completly stock.
Cheers
Druce

P0122 Throttle position sensor circuit low input
P1122 Pressure Sources Switching Valve Circuit High Input
P1422 EVAP Purge Control Valve Circuit High Input

Thats all I could pull up from my obd scanner with a 22 code hope that helps Druce

^^ ???

he's asking for 22 not 1722...22 is the knock sensor mate, you're either knocking or the sensor is fucked, $100 or thereabouts for a new one, reset the CEL and see if you get it again

Was just adding to the previous list for codes containing the number 22.

I had to change my knock sensor a while back - no idea what the code was but the CEL light came on one morning when the car was cold, it turned off a few minutes later (like yours)

Does your CEL come on and off?
Mine kept coming on and off for the rest of that day - i noticed that when the light was on the engine stuttered and felt like it wasn't running any where near full boost. Even with the light off the engine felt sluggish (maybe ignition timing was pulled back?)

Took it into subaru that afternoon, they hooked it up to the computer and it came up with knock sensor error. Bought a new sensor, replaced it that night, reset the ECU and all was well. Good luck.
