STi WaterSpray Bottle mod in WRX

Guys, Did a search but couldn't answer my questions.

Does the WRX wiring loom to the boot have the same loom as the STi with all the necessary wires to hook up a genuine STI waterspray bottle and the other end under the dash somewhere just waiting for a W/S Switch to be connected?

After talking to a couple of guys, the consensus is that the WRX / STi are probably wired up in the boot with the same wiring loom with the WRX just missing the W/S Bottle and the rest of it.

Reason for asking is I have recently acquired a STi Bottle and if there are already connection points there, I would rather use them than stuff around putting new wire in.

Cheers, Dan.

It certainly does not run in GC8's. Cant say for GDb's though.

Cheers

If you get a GD water spray bottle whether it be 5L or 12L .. they will fit right into your WRX! I'd put my money on you having to wire everything in.

Perhaps you should seek advice from a reputable workshop...

^^^

Was always going to, but wanted to find out from anyone "Tech minded" on here as it will be some time before I get a chance to call in on ASG in the near future.

Just did the mech side of the fit out on the 08.
I am just going to use the second pump for the rear washer on its own circuit for the time being until I make one of the electronic ones as they look pretty straight forward to make, will just seek assistance when tapping into temp sensor so I don't fry anything

Temp sensor?
