Default Car wouldn't start and when it did white smoke out the back

The wifes 05 swift with 50K kms wouldn't start tonight (after being fine this arvo). took a good few cranks to get started. When it did start its revs dropped and it stalled after about 2 seconds.

Re-started it and it was going to stall again so i kept the revs at about 1200 for about 15 seconds and then the car idled properly.

Now car starts fine, drove around the block fine, but seems to be smoking a fair bit, and its white smoke. Any idea what it could be? oil level was fine, its got 1/4 tank of petrol (BP) and its well serviced.

Oh and even though garage door was opened I think i've gased myself

White smoke = Water Vapour

Check coolant levels.. likely to have leaking/blown gasket.. or crack in head

It's water related either way

blue smoke = oil
black smoke = fuel
white smoke = water

Condensation in exhaust? Mixed with poor cold start

Possibly water in the tank from a crappy servo or one that's just had it's tanks filled & mixed the water that collects at the bottom & gets mixed in with the fuel, throw a bottle of methylated spirits in there to get rid of it.
