Hey All

I was just wondering if anyone here is running a complete hks Silent Hi-Power exhaust( or cat back with diff dump pipe).

Apparently they produce the same power as a full blown exhaust and only a tad louder than stock? is this true?

I believe they also have the hi flow cat in the dump pipe as well to reduce back pressure.

If you want max power, you will get max noise. No way around it.

I believe stace had a Silent Power muffler, and when swapping it for a cannon gained 50nm or something rediculous.

May not get the biggest power gain over standard but they are one very nice peice of work. My mate had one on his evo8 made a nice note but still quite enough to let your brain think...

I have a cat back hks silent + aftermarket dump on my gc8 it is still noticeably louder than stock but much quieter than most, excellent when just cruising and sound sweet under load.

Power is still good too check out the power thread if you want to see my dyno chart.

The only downside is the massive 5" tip

Ps. as far as I know they are only available as a cat back system not turbo back.
