A few mates are chipping in for a 30th birthday present and I'm looking for the part number for a Power FC on a MY00 GC8. It's obviously an EJ205 but the only Power FC on http://www.perfectrun.com.au/perform...fccomputer.htm seems to be for an EJ207?

Can anyone offer any insight?

Mate, my PowerFC reads EJ207 on the front screen of my hand controller. I dont think it makes a difference honestly. I got mine off a bloke from Skylinesaustralia. There isnt a huge difference between the 205 and 207 besides the internally forged goodies it comes with. I believe the compression ratio and what not are the same yes? Correct me if im wrong heh.

EDIT: Im talking short block, obviously the sti manifold can have TGV deletes and whatever else.....*puts flame suit on*

Same here, mine reads 207 in the front screen. Was installed a couple of years ago by previous owner and no issues.

It says 207 because they're made for sti. When it get's installed they'll chop and change a few wires and it'll be right as rain.
