plus for seans sake trying to make your car idle!
i genuinely don't think you will notice any difference between some fandangled custom manifold and a stock one if it sits in a workshop for months on end. I know mine feels almost as fast as it did 6 months ago :P
Hahaha, I bet it could come back the same as when it left and you'd swear it was faster!!! I don't think I could handle not going for a blast in my car for more than a month...let alone 6!!!

or 18?

Well it makes the car easier to idle then that's a huge + in my book. Let's hope the theory with the quads and ancillary injectors is a joy for sean to tune.

No doubt Sean shall know how to get it singing for ya!!!

Not my field, I'll leave the ECM tuning to those that it is (their field)

"Having quads closer to each intake port simply decreases the time air takes to get from the throttle body when opened, into the heads." This increases responsiveness in both NA & turbo applications.

Idle & VERY low RPM will be compromised, but mid range will be much improved.
Having a plenum in your application will only increase turbo lag. As Tuna said, there is more than enough volume in your intercooler & intake piping without adding more.

Will 4 55mm TBs be more compromised than one large 80mm TB??? I would think that it would be better to control??

Since the plenum will be always filled in my setup then yes i dont think that it is as much as an issue if the plenum was after the TB...

Control (and throttle response) would be much improved with the quads, but it is quite difficult to ensure smooth idling. It can be done in theory, but in practice it can take some tuning.

With the larger single TB there is always a tendency for the engine to stall if the throttle is snapped shut, although this is lessened on a turbo.
