Difference between MY07 and MY08 Tuned by STi liberty??
 

Can anyone give me the basic guts of what the diferences are between the MY07 and MY08 Tuned by STi Liberty's are.

I have found a MY07 in Qld for good dollars and an MY08 in Vic but there is $8k difference in price with similar Kms.

Just want to know if there is significant differences?

Bear in mind the 07 review is a spec B like American Daves

MY07
- Grille: standard chrome arrow
- Calipers: gold Brembo's
- Exhaust: slash cut tips
- Wheels: option of silver or charcoal Enkei's
- Interior: all leather
- Strut Brace: broad bar
- Instrument Cluster: standard
- Sill Plates: standard
- Shift Knob: standard
- Drivers Seat is electronically adjustable

MY08
- Grille: JDM Spec B honeycomb
- Calipers: black Brembo's
- Exhaust: rolled tips
- Wheels: so far only silver Enkei's
- Interior: is it leather trim with velour inserts?
- Strut Brace: round bar
- Instrument Cluster: STi logo
- Sill Plates: STi logo
- Shift Knob: STi logo
- Both Front Seats are electronically adjustable

Not 8k worth, thats for sure!

Suspension, Brakes, updated tranny shift patterns and STI all over it is worth 8K

Apparently there is unlikely to be an 09 tuned by STI as the libs are getting VDC (if it happens) and that makes suspension and brake changes very costly.

found a silver 08 in NSW for 56k with less than 5000kms...............Hmmmmm

brakes are the same Brembos just painted differently, suspension is exact same bilstein w/ sti pinks, if its a proper 6MT then the tranny is no different either, if its a slush box then dont buy it.
