Default Hi Flow

Any advantages in fitting a hi flow cat as from a standard ?

Ive dented my cat and sounds like Ive broken a baffle inside as well.

Avantage: Less restrictive air flow through exhaust, hence lower back pressure, hence turbo is more efficient, hence more powahhhhhhh while remaining street legal.

Broken baffle = soon enough the entire guts of the cat will dislodge and soon enough end up in your muffler or blown out the back. Result = same as above (within reason depending on the size of the buckle) yet it will technically be illegal and might possibly attract a rather hefty fine.

The question begs to be asked; how did you put a dent in the cat and what else did you bend in the process?

Crabbing speed bumps FTL. Just get a 3" Metal Hi Flow from Ian Diffen or basically whoever is cheapest and swap it out. From memory will cost ya $300-$400 installed with new gaskets.

Noting that anyone who puts their foot down at the wrong times generally gets caught!

If it has come loose, don't leave it in there waiting for it to blow out... this can end up totally blocking off your pathway to muffler, or worst case hurt someone firing out the back!
