Thanks mate. Let me know how you find the ku36's. I'm keen to know if they are that noisy or not.

Will do - won't get em on till sometime next week.

Doubt you'd hear them either way if you have an exhaust on?

Got the Kuhmo's on - Initial impressions, a bit louder, but feel really good. Hoping for a chance to test these out on the track soon.

They are still a 40 profile, but didn't realise this changes with the width of a tyre, so a 225/40 does not appear the same as a 245/40

Adjusted the coilovers f/r a bit for a more track setup so it doesn't rub.

Still getting used to the "fatter" look, but a lot more functional than what it was before. Less change of grazing the works on kurbs now.

Lost a valve stem cap, work don't sell these individually or in sets of 4 - unless you buy the valve stems too $$, anyone got any spare?

Anyone seen these? Bit of sti candy, but not even sure if they would fit or even look good on the work blue valve stems.

DukeDrifter likes this.

careful with those big tyres mate, your speedo will be 9% out compared to 225/40!

Would you get them again or is it better to spend bit more and get something else?

They lasted pretty well were ok in the wet id get them again for the right price .There are alot of different tyres at that price point .Hankook ventus evos are around the same price if you can still get them found them a bit grippier and quieter. The equivalent Kuhmos are good too.

Speedo is probably 10% out from factory anyway so may end up more accurate

I actually did a test on a long flat road, and my GPS and speedo align to about 1 or 2 km/h of each other.
