Having a bit of pitch movement in the car isn't such a bad thing in that it makes you very aware of the braking and acceleration forces you are throwing in. If you try to smooth out your driving and minimize the pitch changes you will get a lot quicker. You can still brake and accelerate very hard but be smooth on the application of either.

Mashing the gas or the brake and expecting any suspension changes to do all the compensation for you being a bit ham fisted will not teach you to be a good driver.

And I agree with you 100%.

I'll finish up this thread by saying this:

Anti Lift Kits: Are very good when fitted with a good suspension package and even better when combined with front and rear sway bars.

They give you the ability to corner at a faster speed / under more acceleration. They do cut down on the lift from the front of your car but they ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR THIS.

I was falsely advised into get it at a cost of around $500 and it's peeved me a little. However... I should have done more homework myself! It’s a good addition but like I said. It won’t do what you think it will!! Look into the fine details.

I've got stock struts, king super lows, nothing special - ALK made a mega difference to me, would still recommend it. Better turn in (reduction in understeer) while being able to keep power down was noticeable.

Dunno where $500 came from .. think mine was about 260 + install.

$310 for the ALK
$100 for fitting
$90 for 4 wheel alignment. ( required )

Total = $500

And yep I still recommend it!

Modifying without research = Fail

Work towards a known combination that works, be it suspension, engine mods, driveline or brakes. Plenty of companies have put the hard yards into developing their products to work as part of a package, there's no point in trying to re-invent the wheel (unless you have an unimited budget!).
