Default MY06-MY07 Air Intake

Hey Guys,

There is an air intake on my car missing... however I cannot find what it's ment to go into. It was gone when I brought the car... and I don't know if it was taken off for a reason.

Here is what the intake looks like (click to make bigger):

Here is what under my car looks like... I have no idea where it goes into:

Thanks for your help guys,
Clint

Clint,
The part your missing goes to a hole in the fender which feeds the resonator assembly.
Try Amcap with part number 46012AE100.
I got this part number from a US parts book and it may or may not be right.
I know that some parts are common ie fender liners.
It will require 2 bolts to hold it onto the radiator support and I'm not sure of the size.

Hope this helps..

Cheers,

Joe

Look through the hole in the fender to see if you have a cold air pipe going down to the front of your bumper.

The previous owner more than likely removed the resonator that it is supposed to feed into aswell (common modification for increased intake noise + arguably increased airflow).

Let us know what you find.

You could also take off your Drivers side Wheel and remove the clips that hold the guard there.

Peel back the guard and have a look at the setup of the Air intake into the Air box.
