For sti 2l with normal mods should still get 11l/hundred.

as for fuel leak from tank itself.....are you serious?

So confirming you are running the JDM 01 STi ECU in there now ?
If so see if it can be Verso Reflashed - there is a chance it can.

You will have better flowing heads on the JDM STI motor as well compared to the Oz version.

For some reason, the vf30 seems very laggy, as in, full boost at 3800/3900rpm
Is this normal for the vf30?
When I had my VF30 on a Oz Tuned EJ205 full boost was around 3400/3500 RPM - then it would hit like a train.

600-700KM per tank sounds very unusual as well, something is not right with the tune.

Boost - 2BAR with forged pistons and a spot on tune

LOL.

Thanks for all the great and helpful comments/suggestions guys.

Yes, it is the jap '01 sti motor and ecu.

Yes, my mechanic actually insisted I get it verso'd, as its cheap and reliable, compared to running a stand alone which atm, we don't have the money for.

No, i'm not joking about the fuel consumption, and the leak in the tank.
My mechanic thinks I "may" need the '01 sti fuel tank, for what reason, I don't know lol.

Anyone recommend a bleed valve just for now?

Don't forget that his motor is pulling a lighter GC8 chassis which would lower fuel consumption.

VERY suspicious consumption... I'd be having a good ol' chat with your tuner mate.

Even if i pushed my car i dont think i could get even close to 600 - 700 km's from a tank!

Agreed. The lighter chassis would extend range by 10% or so, can't explain the other 20%
