We had a Subaru in at work the other day with a collapsed pulley. It had done 180k on the original belt. They're pretty robust. ;-)

Gates are en excellent product, developing new kits all the time and their racing belts are world class.

Veale engine part sell all the idlers separately & they're around $50-$70 a piece.

Personally I'd replace all of them unless you want to be doing the same job twice.

I bought the gates kit off ebay TCKWP328RB, comes with water pump, 4 idlers, belt and tensioner.

My kit arrived when I went to install it noticed I need a aircon tensioner bearing also because mine is noisy as fuck don't wanna wait another 2 weeks for an eBay jobby, anyone one know where I can get one locally? Besides a Subaru dealer I hate thos cunts and refuse to give them business.

I think we all know they have a 1000% mark up on all parts it's not so bad for me because I question everything and I'm a bit handy at replacing parts but I can only imagine the poor ppl especially a lot of women who own a Subaru and need a new part installed.

For example $900 for a M.A.F sensor. Buy it yourself price $100
