Sticky Clutch issue

I had this problem for a little while now, I cant seem to find the right info on it via search,

Driving normally I have no issue at all, but when I give it a bit of juce, some times I find the clutch pedal doesnt come all the way back out. It just kinda sits about 3/4 of the way in. I dont think that the actual clutch is engaged because I dont get any smell or anything. I dont leave it down for long thoe I flick it back up a-sap just incase. its really annoying

any one had this before?
any suggestions?

Do you know if your clutch is actually engaging? or is it just your pedal?

just the pedal man..clutch isnt engaged when its stuck down.

clutch drag?

similar issue when i had the HD clutch installed, took a bit of mucking around with pedal adjustment and it sorted itself out...

I have the exact same issue on a 97 wrx

Likewise on a 97 wrx, I was told it may be the slave cylinder, the clutch spring or just try and bleed the clutch...

will be the slave cylinder sticking. put a overhaul kit through it and a little bit of grease. or put 2 springs inside the slave :)
