Default How important is the placement of power steering line

Ive been doing some cleaning up of the engine bay and have decided to remove the hardline from the powersteering line which goes behind the front grill.

I have then routed the shorter lines to the resivoir inside the engine bay.

How critical is that hardline behind the grill in terms of temperature cooling?? I.e is it essential??

Tried to find it in the old hose? May have extremely light steering.

Why would you want to remove that?
