Default XT Forester - What Ratio Gearbox

Hi All,

Can someone please advise what ratio the 5 speed is in the 2006 XT Forester, is it 4.44, the code is TY755VB7AA.

No luck with a google search.

But it won't suit what you have in mind Gav.
They use a push clutch and a dampened flywheel, no good for performace use.
You'd need to re-case it to use a WRX clutch or run a push type twin plate with modification.

It changed around 05-06 somewhere I believe.
If the clutch slave cylinder is mounted at the very front of the gearbox (almost on the motor) with the rod pointing back to the firewall, it's a push clutch.
