Default quiet ticking noise

alright now i have another noise im a little concerned about, this mornin i started her up then noticed wen i apply throttle i could notice this quiet tickin noise, similar to the noise a cricket makes

Definitly think this thing is due to go into a workshop that knows the ins and outs of a wrx

if its from behind the air filter then its definitely the boost solenoid. Its normal for it to click.

Ive had that problem before, where sometimes my boost solenoid continues to tick while driving and while idling. Got it replaced and it still did it time to time. But after installing a dual stage boost controller it doesnt do it as often as before.

But if yours only ticks while reving then +1 to Mister Two's post , it is normal.
