Default Need help identifying wrx turbo

Hi guys ive got a turbo off a mate here, i was hoping someone might be able to identify it. I basically wanted to know what power potential it has to see if its worthwhile putting on my motor. (i know it wont be much, looking for less lag atm)
I was told it was off a wrx.
Cheers for any help. (hopefully pics work )

and on the exhaust housing:
35-13900
040 8k

also on the exhaust housing it has a bits r shitty stamp followed by DUCM

Hey mate, try this link http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthre...highlight=post

Imageshack is even easier (and quicker too!) now than when this was written. Upload the image as described, go to the third one down (Forum Code) and copy and past the entire link. Garaunteed success.

Then the internet mechanics can get to work

Plugged TF035HM into google and it appears you have a very nice turbo for a diesel motor, which means lots of air flow at lower revs and completely gutless at higher revs.

Avoid on your WRX like the plauge.

Ok so it says 170hp, im assuming thats at about 5psi or something?

What can these turbos be boosted up to until they turn into heat guns?

170HP is more like 10 - 12 PSI I would have thought.
