Default Suspension for black budgie

As a lot of you know I have those horrible D2 coilovers and would like suspension that doesn't leave me needing chiropractic work after hitting a bump but not too soft that I feel like I'm driving a Fairlane and sort of just float around the road.

What are my options, pros/cons of each, rough cost (supply and fit) and where from?

I guess it doesn't really help when I'm not sure exactly what sort of driving I intend to do with the car, so are there any options that are adjustable depending on whether I want it hard or soft or is that type of thing in the realm of expensive supercars?

My budget I suppose is around the $3000 mark but if there is a definite advantage for spending a bit more (ie. I get to live longer would be a good example) then I don't mind spending a bit more.

Thanks.

TIEN Super Streets for a OEM feel with the ability to lower and increase dampening rates on demand

Super Streets will do for just about anything, however if you have a bit more cash go monoflexs with EDFC or Cusco2e.

Price varies depending where you get them from 1200-2500 for Teins, 2200-2800 for Cusco's

With the adjustable types, are there any that are adjustable from inside the car electronically like they have on Ferrari's or GTR R35's etc ??

And if not how do you go about adjusting them? (with a spanner, compressor...?)

Sorry for the n00b questions but I know SFA when it comes to suspension (as I'm sure you've probably already figured out)

Thanks.

The Tein EDFC system allows you to adjust the damper settings from inside the car, I have it and quite like it.

With TEINs you can get a electronic adjustment kit called EDFC. It attaches to the top of the coil overs and allows in-cabin adjustment with multiple memory settings.

Depends what you want to pay and how long you want to wait.

Teins from Japan are between 1200-1700 + 400 or so for EDFC.

Local Teins are 2200-2600 or more from Fulcrum + 400 or so maybe bit more for the EDFC.

The Jap Imported Teins are a bit more stiffer than the local ones, but the difference is negligible.

I've got a set of Tein Flex which came out of my Bug Eye, they have probably only done about 1 - 2,000k's since a full re build by the pro's in Qld, don't have the edfc but it's obviously available.....P.M. if interested. The re build cost over a grand from memory, I haven't looked at them for ages but still got the recipt somewhere.
Flex are currently $2,050 US & Street are $1,600 US from Tein.
