Default Rotating front housing on td04

I asked a while back about an elbow or something to fit a 98 style fmic kit to a 95 wrx because the front housing on the turbo face to the right instead of up, but it just occured to me I could probably just rotate the front housing anticlockwise.
Just wondering if anyone has done this and if its pretty straight forward or if there is anything else I might need to be weary of.
Also don't want to be pulling the turbo and everything off to find I need a special tool or its going to take a few days because the car is a daily driver and the missus wont be able to get to work.

I'm presuming I just loosen the bolts at the front but I know some other turbos have notches in them to stop them rotating that you need to grind off.

cheers.

I preume I grind away the dowel but what about the actuator mount? Do I need to fab up something new?
Its hard to get an exact idea atm without the turbo infront of me. The TMIC is still on atm and I really cbf taking it off if I'm not gonna fit this kit today :/ I'll try and google a pic of the turbo.

I was reading this the other day, its explains how to rotate a VF34, not sure if its of any relevance as your doing it with a TD04 but may help.

on closer inspection i could probably go 180 and fit the piping straight. in that case does the wastegate actuator mount up again?
Also I'm trying to find some gc7 (95) engine bay shots but just cant find any with fmic installed, if anyone has any pleaselink me to them, cheers.
