Power FC

Does anyone know if we can use Power FC as a boost controller? And does the controller shows how much boost running so that I don't need a boost guage?

Fairly sure a yes to both. Will handle up to 1.8bar i believe?

Yes x2

Although having a gauge is much nicer to read that the LCD display on the PFC controller.

Yes to both and don't listen to people who will tell you that you need to add a 'boost control kit' to get a pfc to control boost. It's only for skylines.

thx all, one more question, do I have to re-tune everytime I abjust the boost via the controller?

Rossco 02-05-2010 12:00 AM

No no retune needed for boost changes under the maximum it was initially tuned for.

Listen to Ross. There isn't much about the PowerFC he doesn't know.
He was born inside the Apexi factory with a PowerFC in his hand.

I was told that I needed a 3 prot Mac Valve to control anything about 1.4bar+.

Rossco 02-05-2010 09:43 PM

I'm running 1.7-1.8 on mine Eric, Stock solenoid.

Anyone knows if it needs to re-tune if a upgrade fuel pump or injectors installed?
