Default HEL braided clutch line

hey guys so my clutch system is shagged my clutch pedal doesnt pop back up after being pressed down did a quick search found a few things to look for, checked out my old rubber clutch line looks like it has a leak in it, then pulled out my master also looks like it is leaking so the master and slave is been sent off to be rebuilt tommorow,I though instead of buying another rubber line thought maybe could buy one of these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HEL-braided-c...item3caafc4c27 just wondering if any one has used one of these and will it get rid of the big spaghetti clutch line that runs all over the fire wall?

car is a my97 gc8

i have used this brand for my brake lines in my 1999 WRX and they work wonderfully ... and i have been thinking about getting a clutch line off them and replace it just for something to do as i'm very happy with there products

Holy thread revival!

So my clutch line ruptured today - the rubber section going to the slave - and I was wondering if anyone knows if the HEL braided clutch line from the WRX model will bolt up/match directly with the N/A imprezas.

I'll be visiting Subaru in the morning for a quote for a new replacement rubber hose, but will consider the upgrade if the price is comparable to this:

Braided Clutch Lines Kit (WRX/STi 01-14/FXT 97-07) - All Categories

Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think Subaru parts/service dept's are open on Saturdays.

Yeah Subaru Osborne Park are open saturday morning until 12pm.

OEM replacement hose with the gaskets about 60 bucks total, will now do some digging for braided prices/availability.

Added part #'s for FYI purposes:
N/A Rubber Clutch Hose # 37251AC001
N/A Slave Cylinder Join Gaskets (x2) # 114130151

The hose part # does not match the WRX model, so off the shelf WRX products are not expected to be suitable

With that said, I did some digging here for ENZED related threads and came across this one: http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/wanted/4...tml#post616312

Anyone had recent experience there? If it's not too much more expensive for a better replacement item I'll go that route. Can I take my broken line into ENZED with the end fittings and have a stainless steel copy made on the spot?
