Default Timing Belt Change GC8- good link

After eventually completing my timing belt service today - belt, tensioner, bearings and seals + water pump - i thought id share a link I found very useful, as i ran into a couple of problems. Lots of pics and easy to read steps.

Timing belt change GC8

Ive also got a couple of tips i picked up for anyone trying to tackle it.

To undo/do up cam wheel bolts - use the old timing belt; wrap it around the crank pulley and the cam wheel, then use locking pliers or clamp to hold it tight whilst you crack the bolt.

When putting the belt on: leave off the bottom left idler pulley - that way theres a bit more slack to get everything lined up. than its easy to manipulate the large length of belt there to get it back on. i was stumped for hours before i found this tip!

If youve got any other tips or links, feel free to post them.

I think I jammed a screwdriver or something similar in the middle of the cam wheel while I loosened the bolt...
