I'm not sure if they'll look as good in 17's though and have the
right offset for the brembo's.
I did look at these, they don't clear Brembo's without a spacer, albeit a small spacer

I think 17's would be a better rim for the car as the shell is smaller than the GD shell, I also have coilovers and with 18's it's a little harsh....

Depends what tyres you are running Gav.

As an example I have Prodrive OZ-PWRC-01 Rims in a 18 x 7.5 with FALKEN RT615 225/40/R18 tyres and DMS40 Coilovers.

The ride is very acceptable, even with the stiff sidewall of the Falken RT's.

The 40 series profile tyre definately makes a difference.

BTWay for anyone reading this the Falken RT615's are definately the lightest 18" tyre I have come across.

I'm starting to lean towards the ultraleggeras but in 18 inch, they look beefier in 18's, and I would guess be allot lighter than my Rota's!!

Here is a pic of a GC8 with these rims...

What about the Ray's Sti 5 spoke wheels. Somewhat light Not the cheapest wheels but they have pink pride?! (not sure if they'll clear the brembo's)

I was going to suggest these earlier too but the price tag
probably would put you in the shit with your missus.

Edit: However those trade prices are very nice indeed!
