Resetting alarm problems?
 

I'm having difficulties resetting my keypad start alarm in WRX. I have done it before, but now when I disconnect the negative terminal, and press the reset code and replace the terminal back on, the lights come on and quickly flicker off. Now the car has being still for around 4 weeks, although I picked it up with new motor this morning and drove it 30km, surely the battery wouldn't be flat? Anyone got any ideas or thoughts?
