Try disconnecting your car battery overnight and give it a go in the morning.

the disconneting battery didnt work i try disconnecting the icv then it idle
at 1.5k stable then i reconnected it started to surge from 1.5k to 2k for a while then drops to 1k

now i left it to cool down a bit it doesnt idle low now rev it and it sits on1.5k for 2 secs then drops to 1k

the power fc is still frozen

Maybe try unplugging the hand controller from the ECU and back in again.
The ECU itself must still be in pretty good working order, it takes a lot of smarts to make the engine run.

a stuffed coolant temp sensor can also cause problematic idle, just a thought ;) maybe take it back to asg and get them to check it all out

1. Unplug the hand controller from the ecu.
2. Start the car (hand control unplugged)
3. Stop the engine & plug the h/c back in.
4. cycle ignition & see if it still freezes.

It's been raining, so check the h/c & ecu plugs for moisture too.

Re: your idle issue : It sounds like you need to do an Idle re-learn.

***DO NOT RE-INTIALIZE YOUR ECU***
You will lose your tuned map.

Unfortunately you need to be able to Reset the ecu to it's base mapping to be able to do the Idle/load learn procedure & then reload your current map after doing it.

Call the boys and ask them if they can do an idle learn for you.
