I was underwhelmed by the Hyperflow one. The Bunnings spec clear beverage tubing to extend the washer bottle filler was the wrong size and leaked (it was a shit idea anyway) and the mass of non oil resistant 'heater' hose supplied looked like shite too. The instructions were badly written.
Having said that, It's 10 x better than the cheapo ones and still not too badly priced.

I was going to try a variation of this idea...

run the breather hoses to the grimspeed AOS, then run the venting hose to the catchcan and then back to the intake.

I figured doing it this way will show how well the grimspeed AOS is doing it's job, and catching what oil it can't cope with in the catchcan before it is vented back to the inlet.

Possum Bourne Motorsport also make a nice one that drains back to the sump, as used on the car's that they prepared for the Bathurst 12 hour.

Undoubtedly it will be overpriced though!

What I'd like to try is getting a Grimmspeed AOS and getting a RS Liberty Alloy Oil filler neck. Cut off the head of the RS alloy oil filler neck 1cm below the thread for the oil cap and then weld that to a 1 or 2L alloy tank. Then screw the Grimmspeed AOS onto the newly completed tank and mount it somewhere. Then you can either run the clean pipe from the Grimmspeed AOS back to the intake or to a filtered breather.

I never liked how the Grimmspeed AOS looked screwed directly to the OEM oil filler neck. it just looks messy and comes too close to hitting the bonnet.

if the pcv is hooked into the can and the can is venting atmo then isnt that the same as having the pcv going straight to atmo anyway?

if you have the crank case just running to atmo it'll spray oil vapour all over the place and coat everything near by in oil when it breathes.

having a can means the oil is still caught in a can and the breather just puts out clean air. so it doesn't make a mess in the engine bay (and possibly cause a fire) and stink up the cabin by allowing oil vapour to pass through the cabin ventilation ducts.

ok cool.
so I know that the headsand crankcase hoses go to the can, as well as the pcv, but what would you do with the intake hoses?
As standard the heads and crankcase go to a t-piece which then runs back to the intake, am i correct?
