My company uses / sells the Pilot range of air compressors.

In our applications pumping water some of the compressors can run up to 23 & 3/4 hours per day. We de-rate the units for this application, slowing the units down and fit a weighted fly wheel to the electric motor & a cast iron pully on the pump. also changing the oil once per month.

The K series is fitted with a Italian made air pump and will give you years of fault free running.

Air & Power sell them here in Perth there located in Belmont.

I have a K25 3 phase unit

I bought a Blackridge 2HP air compressor, one of those that you can attach air tools to, for small jobs ard the house etc.

Well I hooked it up and started it as per instructions to build up air in the tank...however 10 to 15 mins later the compressor is still going and there is just a very tiny amount of pressure in the air tank, not enough even to pump up a tyre.

As this is new to me, can anyone advise how long it would take for such a compressor to build up to it's workable pressure (ard 85psi)?
Very cheap unit $72.00 ?
have reed valves in the head, did you put the oil in the direct drive motor.
Is there an air leak ?
is the pressure switch set correct ?

Return it for another , you get what you pay for

Goes down to 80mm. Super light too, can throw it in the boot very easily without breaking your back or the car.

I paid $300ish for it, but it was part of a group buy through Antilag.. they're not normally that cheap, RRP is on the Kincrome website.

Only bad thing is that the reach isn't very long, but its liveable.
Bumping up this thread...

For those interested in this Kincrome jack, I found it in an online shop.... free shipping.

$378.95 incl GST... not bad!

Joe, can you recall which vendor supplied the GB on Antilag?
